Education : Bachelor of Science Degree or associate's degree in medical technology
Experience : 3 years of recent chemistry, urinalysis, blood bank, hematology, coagulation, and microbiology experience
License : Medical Technologists (MT, MLS or CLS) - ASCP or AMT
If shortlisted, CME is required.
Job Description :
Perform routine chemistry, urinalysis, hematology, coagulation, microbiology, and blood bank testing using automated and manual methods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Conduct quality control procedures daily and weekly, perform instrument maintenance, and troubleshoot any technical issues.
Carry out cross-matching, antibody screening, and blood product processing for routine and emergency blood bank requests.
Independently evaluate, document, and report patient test results and quality control data, resolving any discrepancies in collection, processing, testing, or reporting.
Participate in the College of American Pathologists (CAP) Proficiency Testing (PT) Program, ensuring compliance with established laboratory protocols.
