Job Title: RN Med Surg Location: Gallup, NM 87301 Duration: 6 to 12 Months Start Date: April 2025 Shift Schedule: 12 hr Day/Night Rotating Weekends and Holidays Qualification: License: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in any State of USA Certifications: BLS, ACLS Experience: 1 year experience in the department/specialty/position with minimum of 3 years nursing experience. Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients' health status, conducting physical exams, patient interviews, and medical history reviews.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood transfusions, and other therapeutic treatments as prescribed.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, addressing patients' physical, emotional, and socio-cultural needs.
- Manage and care for telemetry patients, ensuring continuous monitoring and appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient management, treatment planning, and discharge coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, adapting procedures and patient care approaches as needed.
