Job Title: RN OR Location: Gallup, NM 87301 Duration: 6 to 12 Months Start Date: April 2025 Shift Schedule: 8 hr Day Shifts (Mon Fri/ includes Wknds and Holidays, Stand by Call rotation) Qualification: License: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in any State of USA Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Experience: 2 years' experience in the department/specialty/position with minimum of 3 years nursing experience. Responsibilities:
- Provide total perioperative nursing care, including managing emergency cases such as trauma and fetal distress C-sections.
- Assess and monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively, utilizing physical exams, patient interviews, and health history reviews.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and emergency resuscitative measures following anesthesia and surgical protocols.
- Operate and monitor specialized surgical equipment, including cardiac monitors, suction devices, autoclaves, and powered surgical instruments.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and multidisciplinary staff to ensure comprehensive patient care and procedural efficiency.
- Assist in PACU and emergency surgeries after hours, functioning as team leader when required.
