Job Summary:
We are an outdoor power equipment business in the heart of South Georgia. We sell, service, and repair multiple brands of outdoor power equipment. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service and Parts Coordinator to join our team. This roll oversees the ordering process, and coordinating the timely delivery of parts to technicians/mechanics and is responsible for managing inventory. Additionally, this role ensures seamless communication between technicians and other internal teams to maintain operational efficiency. The Service Coordinator will determine parts needed for service and repairs, place orders, and coordinate parts with services and/or repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction:
- Serve as a point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and helpful attitude when communicating with clients via phone, or in-person.
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction after services have been completed.
- Problem-Solving:
- Address any issues or delays in service delivery promptly and communicate any changes to clients in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve service-related problems and improve overall customer experience.
- Record Keeping & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of client communications, service requests, and completed jobs.
- Update service tracking systems and generate reports for management as needed.
- Keep detailed logs of service histories and inventory management.
- Process Improvement:
- Assist in implementing best practices to optimize the scheduling and delivery of services.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the customer service, sales, and technical teams to ensure all aspects of service delivery are aligned and executed effectively.
- Assist with inventory management and ensure service resources are available as required.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Must be resourceful and knowledgeable in searching data bases for various parts for outdoor equipment, based off of a mechanic's diagnose.
- Able to understand and communicate the language of outdoor power equipment, such as various engine components and parts.
- Knowledgeable of the basic function of outdoor power equipment.
- Must be able to operate a zero turn mower, riding lawn tractor mower, and other pieces of equipment such as golf carts, and 4 wheelers for the purpose of unloading and loading equipment for customers.
- Must be able to drive a truck with a trailer for pick-up and delivery purposes.
- Proven experience in a customer service, service coordination, or administrative role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software.
- Ability to work well under pressure, maintain flexibility, and manage competing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the outdoor power equipment industry.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or service management software.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced service or technical environment.
- Experience in operating a forklift/moffett forklift.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Occasional travel for pickup and delivery services.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Occasionally work in summer heat for brief periods.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
