Job Summary
The Clinical Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services. Duties
- Supervise and support clinical staff in the implementation of treatment plans and behavioral interventions.
- Conduct regular assessments of client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of medical records.
- Provide training and guidance on medical terminology, applied behavior analysis, and best practices in behavioral health.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
- Facilitate communication between families, caregivers, and external service providers to ensure cohesive support for clients.
- Stay informed about current trends and research in behavioral health and special education to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in behavioral health settings, particularly working with children on the autism spectrum.
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and the management of medical records.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Prior experience in providing training or supervision to clinical staff is preferred.
