What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst- BI Developer position at PRIME RAYS INC?
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions based on business requirements. Shall work under supervision to design and customize software for client use. Create pipelines, flows and dashboards and convert weekly PowerPoint presentation to automatic Power BI report. Gather data from various sources such as databases, APIs, and flat files. Integrate data from disparate sources into a unified data warehouse or data lake. Cleanse and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency. Transform raw data into a usable format for analysis and reporting. Develop business intelligence solutions using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView. Create interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and insights. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations. Interpret findings and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Write SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from relational databases. Use programming languages like Python or R for data analysis and automation. Monitor BI solutions for performance issues and bottlenecks. Optimize queries, data models, and visualizations for improved efficiency. Require Master's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, Information Science / Systems or related field with relevant work experience for at least 1 year. Must have relevant work experience using Power BI, Tableau, MS SQL.Must be willing to travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the USA at company paid expenses.
