Requirements
- Driver must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day.
- Must be able to make deliveries safely and efficiently, using a 2-wheeler (dolly) loaded with several hundred lbs.
- Deliveries are made in all weather conditions throughout the year (snow, ice, rain, heat, wind, etc.), and may involve stairs on occasion.
- Must comply with Food Safety Guidelines.
- Temperature reporting.
- Avoid roadside inspection violations (which affect PSP and SMS Scores).
- Deliver efficiently and safely.
- Report any unsafe delivery conditions and maintain a satisfactory unload rate, maintain a satisfactory smart drive score, and uphold 5S standards of truck organization and cleanliness.
- Provide Quality Customer Service.
- Process collections of money and credit returns.
- Other routes may be assigned from time to time.
- Assist teammate drivers as may be required to meet order fulfillment.
License/Certification Required
- CDL A or B with airbrakes; must have a DOT-certified medical card; must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- 5s Certified.
- Three years clean PSP score (no unsafe driving/hour of service violations).
- Three years clean DMV driving record.
- CDL A- Experience driving a commercial vehicle (box truck and or tractor trailer); experience making deliveries using a 2-wheeler (dolly) and or pallet jack.
- CDL B- Experience operating any vehicle with a GVWR greater than 26,000 pounds, as well as any vehicle towing a trailer that does not exceed a GVWR of 10,000 pounds; experience making deliveries using a 2-wheeler (dolly), and or pallet jack.
