The Delivery Driver/Tent Installer is responsible for the timely installation of tents and other related rental equipment. Delivery Drivers/Tent Installers will load and unload vehicles/ trucks and drive company vehicles to deliver equipment in full or partial loads following instructions on customer contracts and from supervisor. Delivery Drivers/Tent Installers serve as the Company representative and oftentimes serve in similar capacity to Crew Lead; communicating with customers on the correct use of equipment, obtaining customer signatures for delivery, and missing and broken equipment reports. Delivery Drivers/Tent Installers are responsible for ensuring vehicles are clean and are in safe working order. This position will also assist with other duties as instructed by management. Wage is dependent on driving and or Tent installing experience.
RESPONSIBILITES

- Pulls and loads tent and related equipment with delivery assistants and warehouse support.
- Deciphers pull sheet and pull necessary equipment for job. Inspects equipment for damage prior to loading. Makes necessary adjustments on the packing list and checks pull sheet against order.
- Notifies management and sales person of installation progress and customer issues.
- Maintains assigned crew working times including meal breaks taken.
- Ensures all non-rental equipment supplies such as sledge hammers, tie straps, screwdrivers, tarps, tent bags/tags, etc. are loaded according to the requirements of each job.
- If applicable, installs other rental equipment per the Customer’s contract.
- Maintains tent job after installation and adjusts per weather conditions.
- Inspects tent and accessories for damage prior to disbanding and removal. Records all damaged and/or missing rental equipment on the rental contract.
- Disassembles tents per manufacturer, company, safety policy and procedures.
- Unloads and returns tent and related equipment to the correct storage or cleaning area.
- Instructs customers on the correct usage of rental equipment.
- Counts and records items loaded (both delivery and pick-up) on correct paperwork. Notifies supervisor of missing and damaged equipment.
- Collects delivery signatures from customers, records quantities delivered including refused equipment on contract paperwork.
- Ensure cab/box is locked with provided lock when not is use/traveling.
- Ensures all loads are properly secured at all times.
- Acts as company liaison with clients; listens to and resolves service complaints.
- Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unused goods.
- Loads truck in a safe and efficient manner.
- Cleans & maintains cleanliness of inside of truck cab and cargo areas.
- Performs routine maintenance on truck and completes daily Truck Service Checklists.
- Reports safety violations to supervisor.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations in written or verbal form.
- Complies with company and government safety requirements (including the correct use of Personal
- Protective Equipment) and avoids texting or phone usage while driving.
- Attends department, location, and safety meetings.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21 years with clean driving record
- Must pass MVR check for insurance acceptance
- Must complete ride-along/road test.
- Must watch all required driving videos.
- Understands and can demonstrate the inventory flow of the department.
