Position: Travel RN/QA Nurse
Summary
Prime Time Healthcare is searching for a Travel RN/QA Nurse that can assist the Director of Nursing in all daily activities. There way be some floor work needed for call offs. This is a small Critical Access hospital with 16 swing beds - low acuity. Mostly daytime hours.
Job Duties
· Assist DON with all daily activities
· Monitor and report all medication errors
· Review telephone orders for accuracy
· Maintain system of medication ordering, storage, prep, and administration
· Recruiting and supervising the onboarding of new nurses through training or delegation to a trainer.
· Developing timetables to guarantee sufficient nursing coverage for all shifts within departments.
· Mentoring nurses to enhance their performance and managing disciplinary matters.
· Supervising expenditures to ensure the facility operates within budgetary limits.
· Hosting staff meetings to review patient status.
· Performing employee assessments that highlight nurses' strengths and areas for development.
· Conducting rounds to evaluate patient conditions and observe nursing staff.
· Reviewing patient records for accuracy and currency.
· Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Active RN license in ND
· A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hosp setting
· Up to date TB test, physical and BLS/CPR
