Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Relief Valve Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in inspecting, testing, and maintaining safety valves to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
This position involves working with a variety of pressure relief valves in different industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test safety valves to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Perform maintenance tasks, including cleaning, blasting, and painting of valve components.
- Disassemble valves without damaging parts per the manufacturer's Installation & Operation Manual.
- Document and enter job data into the database, including photograph documentation.
- Coordinate with office personnel on maintenance requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Maintain equipment in the area, as required.
- Assemble, calibrate, tag, and certify valves per manufacturer's repair manuals.
- May be required to assist in field assignments.
- May be required to climb and work at various elevations depending on the job scope.
- Operate motor vehicles, as required.
- Attending job and safety training, as necessary or required.
