About This Position
This position is responsible for the coordination, review and analysis of the company’s actual and expected financial earnings. Analyzes results, providing accurate and concise explanations of drivers and variances. Acts as a key source of information for senior management requests and in the creation of publicly reported financial documents. Utilizes FP&A software tool to model and forecast results and to create financial reports and dashboards. Coordinates the compilation of the company’s annual financial earnings budget.
This is a hybrid position.
The estimated salary range for this role is: 75K-85K
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Earnings Analysis - Coordinate, consolidate and review earnings reports provided by financial subject matter experts for the monthly earnings package. Examine financial results for errors and anomalies. Analyze and research emerging trends in results. Present consolidated financial results and explanations to senior management and auditors. Analyze, project and present to senior management key financial measures and performance indicators.
Manage the Company's financial supplement and review other publicly reported financial documents - Create and maintain the company's financial supplement. Review and sign-off on the accuracy of financial results presented in the company's earnings call with investors, including CEO and CFO scripts and earnings presentations.
Forecasting/Financial Modeling - Create and update financial models for miscellaneous revenue and expense items. Ensure modeling accurately reflects trends in the business.
Reporting/Dashboards - Create and maintain accurate and informative financial reports and dashboards in the company's FP&A software tool.
Ensure consolidated financial budget and forecasts are complete and reasonable - Evaluate financial forecasts and budgets for reasonableness and completeness. Coordinate efforts of financial subject matter experts to address or mitigate any deficiencies in financial forecasts and budgets. Assist in the maintenance and support of the company's FP&A software models.
Create presentations for senior executives and the company's board of directors.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management
- 6-10 years experience in Financial analysis, budgeting, planning and forecasting
- Highly proficient level of Microsoft Excel,
- Spreadsheet modeling and forecasting,
- Managerial accounting,
- Time management,
- Ability to adapt quickly and meet deadlines
- Business or accounting degree,
- Experience in insurance products and other financial products,
- Accounting system experience
