Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced pharmacy support Installations & Implementation Lead to assist with installation troubleshooting and maintenance of pharmacy management software and hardware. This role involves providing technical support, managing installation projects, and ensuring seamless customer interactions through various communication channels.
The ideal candidate will have pharmacy experience and the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. This position requires travel to client sites, adherence to strict installation protocols, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities :
Communication & Project Management :
Effectively manage installation projects, escalations, team schedules, and onboarding through email, chat, web meetings, and direct interactions with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
Client Engagement & Customer Satisfaction :
Proactively address customer inquiries with timely solutions, ensuring high satisfaction while maintaining KPIs and SLAs.
Resolve routine pharmacy customer inquiries related to hardware, network settings, and Prime-branded pharmacy management products, applications, APIs, and interfaces.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting :
Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, including password resets, printer configurations, and remote desktop support.
Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, scanners, and network equipment.
Execute effective root cause analysis and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.
Team Collaboration :
Participate in team huddles and training to enhance knowledge of new products and services.
Maintain clear and frequent communication to provide updates, support team members, and align tasks effectively.
Job Competencies :
Pharmacy & IT Experience :
Pharmacy technician certification or relevant pharmacy experience required . Some experience in IT systems, hardware / software support, system management, and call center customer service are preferred .
Technical Skills :
Strong knowledge of Windows-based platforms, basic networking (printers, workstations, routers, Bluetooth devices), and pharmacy management software ( highly preferred ). Experience with hardware installation, troubleshooting, and computer component repairs.
Work & Physical Requirements :
Must be able to lift as much as 50 lbs. , move between work locations, and relocate heavy equipment. Work will be performed in the company office and / or onsite at pharmacies, with 60% travel required . Periodic weekend coverage is also expected.
Key Abilities :
Strong attention to detail, ability to follow strict installation processes, troubleshoot issues, and interact effectively with clients, vendors, and team members. Must be self-motivated, able to multitask, and work independently under tight deadlines.
Qualifications :
- Pharmacy experience of minimum of 2-3 years
- Associate or bachelor's degree in technology / information services or a closely related field preferred.
- Certifications like CompTIA A or Network or Cisco Certified Technician or equivalent preferred
Benefits
65,000 - $75,000 a year
The salary for this position may vary depending on the candidate's location due to regional cost of living differences. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's skills, experience, and educational background. As such, the salary range is subject to adjustment to align with market conditions and company policies.
