Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly creative and motivated Architectural Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional design skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of development. This role provides a unique opportunity to make significant contributions to a wide range of architectural projects, from initial concept design through to project completion, within a fast-paced and innovative studio environment.
The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of the design process, collaborating closely with clients, architects, engineers, and other team members and stakeholders to develop innovative and functional design solutions that meet the specific needs and requirements of each project. They will be responsible for producing detailed construction drawings, 3D models, and other visual representations of design concepts, as well as preparing technical specifications and other documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and practical design concepts for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using industry-standard software (Revit and AutoCAD).
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure design integrity and project goals are met.
- Conduct site visits and assist with field measurements and documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines, including MEP and structural, to resolve design challenges.
- Contribute to project visualization through renderings and presentations using tools like Enscape.
- Stay informed about building codes, zoning regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and innovation, including conducting zoning analysis to support project feasibility.
- Work independently and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and project schedules.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in residential & multi family architectural design.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and rendering software (e.g., Enscape or similar).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design and technical skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of construction documentation and detailing.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows is a plus.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
