Position Summary
Assist in developing and maintaining employee group relationships with existing and new businesses. Organize, coordinate, and participate in activities related to Business, Employee groups and Community Development. Promote a high quality of service for both internal and external members at all times. Provides coaching and support for branch employees, including joint calling, to improve the comfort level and product knowledge for workplace banking.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Actively pursue new business opportunities, give presentations, and develop new SEG (Select Employer Group) and business partner relationships.
- Identify and participate in SEG-related community activities to further the strategic business plan for the credit union.
- Work with the Branch Managers to develop and leverage relationships with current SEGs for expansion.
- Participates in SEG orientations, sign-ups, benefits fairs, events and staff meetings to further establish our name recognition and to promote products and current promotions.
- Develop and perform orientation presentations, including speaking to groups of initial and subsequent signups with content consisting of an overview of credit union products and current promotions.
- Coordinate the preparation of orientation materials, distribute meeting schedule information to orientation teams and confirms meeting information with SEG representatives
- Assist or coordinate signup team direction while at SEG locations.
- Distribute periodic marketing or product promotion correspondence directly to members of SEGs and Ambassadors to further develop our SEG penetration and business development growth.
- Increase credit union membership through traditional and innovative sales tactics including telephone sales, field meetings, direct business correspondence, B to B presentations, text messaging and electronic methods.
- Identify opportunities to provide exposure for the credit union through community events, partnerships and educational activities.
- Assist in maintaining SEG files containing all appropriate contact documentation, current employee figures, number of members and SEG percentage penetration.
- Track percentage of SEG penetration and types of products utilizing in comparison to credit union goals.
- Collaborate and report weekly with Director of SEG Development on business development activities.
- Comply with BSA regulations when performing all job requirements, and stay abreast of updates/requirements of BSA/OFACCIP through completion of training courses assigned annually by supervisor.

- Project management skills – ability to develop project plans (including detailed timelines, assigned responsibilities, and available resources) that lead staff to complete the project on time.
- Time management skills – effectively prioritize tasks to use time efficiently and attend to a broad range of activities.
- Bi – lingual a plus.

Experience
- Three or more years of experience in general sales (BTB, and retail preferably) community involvement and responsible for handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Education
- A college degree (business, marketing or communication preferred) or four years of equivalent work experience in addition to the experience required above.
ADA Requirements
- Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 5 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergencies. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on a computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
