What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credit Risk Intern position at Primis Bank Opportunities?
Position Summary: This position is responsible for supporting the Credit Risk Management department with various activities, projects and initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Spread and analyze financial statements for credit requests.
- Develop knowledge of banking laws and regulations to evaluate credit risk.
- Prepare financial spreadsheets.
- Assist with conducting and preparing a global cash flow analysis.
- Assemble financial information to support small business loans submitted for new credit and renewal.
- Complete bank reports when requested.
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
Marginal Functions
- Maintain compliance with and adhere to all state and federal regulations and Bank policies and procedures, including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, SAR, CTR, FACT ACT, Community Reinvestment Act, EEO, and fair employment practices.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Educational & Experience Requirements
- Current college student studying finance or accounting

- Superior analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Excellent computer skills relevant to Microsoft Office Suites (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
Physical Demands
