Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination:
- Assist in developing project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Track project progress and identify potential risks or delays.
Construction & Engineering Support:
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Support in reviewing technical drawings, designs, and procurement documents.
- Assist in resolving engineering and operational challenges on-site.
Budget & Cost Management:
- Assist in monitoring project budget, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Evaluate contractor invoices and ensure compliance with contract terms.
- Support procurement and material management activities.
Quality Assurance & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and international construction standards.
- Assist in conducting site inspections and audits to maintain safety and compliance.
- Work closely with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) teams to promote a safe work culture.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:
- Prepare project reports, documentation, and presentations for senior management.
- Facilitate coordination between engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
- Communicate effectively with clients, government authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or equivalent experience 10 years.
- 5 years of experience in power plant construction or large industrial projects.
- Familiarity with gas turbine technology, power generation systems, and EPC contracts.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (PMP certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD).
- Knowledge of HSE regulations and quality control standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
Work Environment:
- Work is primarily on-site at the power plant construction location.
- Requires coordination with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- May involve extended work hours and travel as per project needs.
