Requirements:
- Skilled Journeyman or Distribution A-Class Linemen must be able to perform diversified electrical construction work including construction and maintenance of poles, power lines, and equipment for the transmission and distribution of Primary (4KV to 34.5KV) and Secondary Voltage (120v to 600v) electricity. Must be able to trouble-shoot lines with skill.
- Must also be capable of performing the duties on the ground as well.
- Provide the needed services for construction, operation, and maintenance of electrical distribution systems.
- Must know how to set and remove poles, install and remove cross-arms and pins, place and remove electrical conductors, set and remove transformers, and other equipment related to the construction and maintenance of electrical distribution grid systems.
- Must have the ability and knowledge to be able to temporarily substitute for the Foreman.
- Must always comply with proper safety standards/procedures and work practices.
- Must have an understanding of basic and advanced electrical principles, and possess a working knowledge of customer’s specifications, be proficient in all phases of line construction, be capable of operating equipment necessary to complete jobs, including bucket trucks, Line Trucks and digger derricks, Wire Tensioner Pulling Rigs, etc.
- CDL LICENSE REQUIRED.
