Older Toddler Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in nurturing young minds and fostering a positive learning environment for children aged 2 to 5 years. This position requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles, classroom management skills, and the ability to engage children in meaningful activities that promote their development.

Duties

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, including social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
• Provide individualized support to children with special needs or developmental delays as needed.
• Engage with parents and caregivers to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain order and promote positive behavior among students.

Qualifications :

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
• Experience in toddler care or infant care is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with special education strategies is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a nurturing environment for all students.
• Previous experience in caregiving or babysitting is advantageous but not required.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
