We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team at Primrose School of Naperville Crossings. As an Assistant Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young children and work in a supportive and nurturing environment. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 30 p.m.
Responsibilities :
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities
- Supervise and interact with children to promote their development
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide updates on child's progress
- Assist with meal, diapering / bathroom and snack times
- Must be 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with young children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess a warm and nurturing demeanor
- Ability to meet state-specific requirements for education and experience
