Infant Teacher

Salary: $15.00-17.00 per hour, depending on candidate education and experience

The Primrose School of Symmes is an private preschool serving families with children, infants through kindergarten and before/after school age. Qualifications:

• Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency
• High school diploma/GED required
• 1-2 years professional experience working with infants aged 6 weeks-12 months
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations

Responsibilities:

• Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children aged 6 weeks to 12 months.
• Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
• Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds.
• Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions & assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
