AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer -61122
We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our largest clients for a position of AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to work in Irvine, California
Requirements
- Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance cloud operations.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate deployment and management processes using Terraform.
- Maintain and enhance security protocols to safeguard cloud resources and data.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure system integrity and reliability.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and operational procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients as needed.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 12 years of overall experience in IT (preferred job level 5).
- Proven experience in AWS cloud operations and management.
- Strong proficiency in Linux system administration.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
