Job Description

- Maintain a Safety-first attitude.
- Identify, and diagnose equipment problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions independently to appropriately complete repairs.
- Interpret and utilize an extensive variety of instructions in mathematical, written, or oral for performing repairs.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required with three (1) or more years heavy & truck equipment.
- Must be 18 years in age or older and able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check; must maintain current driver’s license that meets requirements.
- Ability to read, write and do basic mathematical calculations in order to keep time and material records.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively with a focus on timeliness and responsiveness.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
- Able to walk and stand; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
- The ability to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- May require sitting for extended periods of time.
- Vision abilities (with correction) include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Able to climb ladders.
- Able to regularly lift and/or move 50-100 pounds.
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required; must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
