Minimum Qualifications

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Responsible for unlocking and locking the natatorium lobby doors at the correct time
- Responsible for greeting patrons entering the natatorium
- Ensures the patrons check in and complete the natatorium daily sign in sheet to track attendance
- Responsible for all natatorium sales of daily admissions, passes and court rentals made by cash, check or credit card
- Responsible for recording all transactions on the natatorium daily accounting form
- Responsible for entering sale into the cash register and ensuring that the cash, checks and credit card slips are secured in the cash register
- Responsible for running credit card sales through the credit card machine and having the patrons sign the correct copy
- Complete court reservations for the basketball court and racquetball courts for patron use
- Monitors the use of the hydrotherapy pool, lobby, weight room, basketball court, racquetball courts and hallways for appropriate use by authorized users
- Responsible for enforcing natatorium rules and regulations
- Maintain the pass sale log
- Maintain the swim test list
- Maintain a clean and orderly work space
- Responsible for answering phones and providing the correct information to the caller
- Inform management of any issues, supplies needed or repairs needed
- Assist with providing directions to other college buildings on campus
- Assist the natatorium management as requested
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Skilled in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
- Cash handling skills
- Phone etiquette skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have the use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle or feel objects and controls. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to a, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. No significant climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions.

- Work schedule subject to change based on the needs of the department.
- Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
- As required by the 1986 Immigration Act, be prepared to present acceptable documentation showing your identity and that you are a U.S. citizen or an alien who is authorized to work.
