The Prince George’s County Office of Ethics and Accountability is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill a Compliance Analyst (Compliance Specialist 3G), grade G24, in the Ethics and Accountability Admin Division.
About The Position
This is senior and/or lead professional and analytical staff work with administrative responsibilities performed in support of the Office of Ethics and Accountability. The incumbent in this position collects and evaluates monthly agency reports, monitors case management system, prepares reports, and evaluates metrics to identify trends, issues, and strategies for improved compliance. The incumbent has independent judgment and initiative within the scope of the Executive Director and supervisory staff. The incumbent handles a variety of duties that include sensitive, controversial, and privileged/confidential assignments. Work assignments are performed under general supervision and performance is evaluated in terms of its overall contribution to managerial improvement and organizational efficiency.
About The Agency
The Office of Ethics and Accountability (OEA) is responsible for increased accountability and oversight by identifying fraud, abuse, and illegal acts and supports the Board of Ethics to exercise its authorities granted to it under the Prince George’s County Code of Ethics to promote the public’s trust of County Government and ensure the impartiality of employees and County elected officials in the execution of their duties.

- COMPLIANCE & MONITORING - Oversees development of agency programs to analyze and enhance data accuracy.
- DATA ANALYSIS AND REPORT WRITING - Supervises, oversees, and evaluates contract compliance needed to accomplish the Office goals and objectives.
- ADMINISTRATION - Performs a variety of administrative, operational, and technical duties to assist the Executive Director.
- OTHER DUTIES - Performs other duties as assigned including but not limited to emergency response, special projects and/or programs that are consistent with the mandates of the Office.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, business or public administration or a closely related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in managing products or service testing, monitoring service levels, inspections, benchmarking, creating metrics, evaluations, IV&V, quality reports, auditing, assessments, quality control activities, interfacing with configuration management, release management, troubleshooting, problem resolution, data or information analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Business or Public Administration, or a closely related field.
- Juris Doctorate or Certificate of Law or Certificate in Paralegal studies.
- Demonstrated experience with producing annual or other reports.
- Ability to use and manage communication operations, including use and management of social media.
