Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, physical education, and overall development in preschool-aged children.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Develop and assess educational programs that encourage children's growth in literacy, physical education, and social skills.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all students.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and teaching strategies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Ensure compliance with all daycare regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Experience in preschool or daycare settings is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in classroom management, lesson planning, and curriculum development.
- Ability to create engaging learning experiences that promote literacy education.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR is preferred but not required.
- 40 Clock Hours or CDA is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working in a Faith-based center.
