What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician/Safety Coordinator position at Prince Rubber & Plastics?
To perform QC measurements, inspections, and generate reports, in a custom thermoplastic and rubber fabrication/manufacturing environment. Incoming, in-process and final inspections.
Required to use precision measuring tools (measuring tapes, measuring calibers, micrometers, and other) file computer reports (familiarity with Excel/Word). Accurately read detailed drawings. Able to lift up to 50 lb. Assist in organizing material movements in-plant and external. Inventory cycle counts.
Candidate will also serve as the Safety Coordinator for the plant. Responsibilities include, conducting safety meetings, ensure proper PPE use, making sure all safety log sheets are being filled out appropriately, among other items.
Candidates should have related formal education or other relevant credentials in this area
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
