The Construction Inspections Specialist - Plumbing offers a tremendous opportunity for you to use your expertise in construction, code enforcement and project management to assist targeted industry stake holders throughout the construction lifecycle of their projects. About This Role :
- Serves as the lead inspector for projects as assigned by the construction supervisor
- Performs trade specific inspections
- Research's and monitors targeted industry projects
- Can communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Establishes and nurtures effective working relationships
- Coordinates and leads pre-construction meetings
- Responsible for documenting meeting minutes
- Attends multi-disciplinary internal meetings and provides input
- Performs data entry using the county's computer-based programs for documenting project life cycle
- Assist the supervisor with the development and presentation of in-house training curriculum
- Serve as a member on Department / Division Process Action Teams
Minimum Requirements :
High school diploma or G.E.D. and 3 year of related (plumbing construction) experience.

This position works a standard Monday-Friday schedule, working 37.5 hours per week.
