About This Role
In this role, you will provide administrative support to the County Executive and the Office of Executive Management. This includes secondary support for the four (4) Deputy County Executives and other executive level staff. Duties include, but are not limited to:
High school diploma and 4 years of experience in an administrative or executive assistant role, preferably in a government or public sector environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. for 37.50hrs/wk. with flexibility required to work evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the job.
Hiring Salary Range: $78,900.00 - $106,800.00/yr. In addition, we offer great benefits including:

- Executive Support:
- Protect the executive’s time, manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Prepare correspondence, presentations, and reports.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Conduct Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) searches
- Administrative Support:
- Manage office supply ordering schedule, organize digital and physical filing systems.
- Answer phone calls, screen inquiries, and manage email correspondence.
- Maintain office records, files, and databases, protect data and confidential information.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and materials.
- Project Support:
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Provide research and analysis support as needed.
- Monitor and track project deadlines and deliverables.
- Office event management, coordinating logistics, preparing event materials, managing invitations, and selecting venues
- Communication and Liaison:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between departments and agencies.
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor in all interactions.
High school diploma and 4 years of experience in an administrative or executive assistant role, preferably in a government or public sector environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher and 5 years of experience in an administrative or executive assistant role, preferably in a government or public sector environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Experience with government policies and procedures.
- Experience using project management software.
- Knowledge of local government operations.
