About This Role
As the Business Services Administrator, you will serve as the Human Resources Liaison/Office Manager for the Department and manage and coordinate all personnel actions to completion, including disciplinary actions, employee counseling as well as mentoring employees. This position analyzes the effectiveness of proposed programs, policies and procedures as well as assists in the development of policies. You will also be responsible for the recruitment needs of the department by assisting staff with appropriate paperwork to begin an advertisement and guide them through the interview process. You will be involved in the onboarding and off-boarding of new hires. This position also serves as the FOIA Liaison Officer by ensuring the FOIA requests are sent to the appropriate staff member and that the request has been responded by due date of the request. This position also oversees payroll functions and manages employee evaluations to ensure the evaluation is processed and meets the County’s focal point. In addition, you will assist the Director with managing his day-to-day activities by prioritizing his day, managing his calendar and scheduling meetings both online and in-person.
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. and 7 years of related experience in office administration work.

- Detail-oriented and ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
