Prince William County (PWC) Community Services is seeking energetic, self-motivated, high-achieving applicants for an Early Intervention Program Manager position. Early Intervention (EI) is a Virginia Part C program, working within PWC Community Services, regulated by federal, state, and local mandates and guidelines. PWC EI Division consists of two programs – The Infant Information Center (IIC), which is our Service Coordination (SC) program, and the Parent Infant Education Program (PIE) which is our therapy/education program. This newly hired EI Program Manager will oversee the IIC Program within the EI Division of Community Services. Come grow with us and our infants and toddlers. About This Role:

The IIC Program Manager (IIC PM) will be responsible for managing a large, busy program of Early Intervention SCs. The Infant Information Center (IIC) is the central point of entry for PWC EI services and is staffed by VA Part C Certified Service Coordination staff. The EI PM will work closely with the EI DM, the PIE Program Manager, PWC Community Services staff and Part C state staff as needed in the administration of local EI services.

Duties of the IIC PM include, but are not limited to:

  • Direct supervision of IIC Supervisor(s) and Lead Staff;
  • Ongoing data collection, analysis and reporting to EI DM and others as needed;
  • Working directly with the PIE PM and Supervisors and administrators of contracted agencies as needed to coordinate service delivery;
  • Coordinating with other Community Services programs;
  • Overseeing record requests and attending meetings of VA Part C staff, PWC CS staff and meetings with community partners as needed for program administration.
  • Participating as a Service Coordinator as program needs dictate for limited periods of time.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8 or more years of experience working with infants and toddlers in a Part C program or similar human services local/state/federal program

Preferences:

  • 5 years of experience supervising staff
  • Possess current VA Part C Certification as a Service Coordinator or other certified EI provider.
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience in comprehensive interagency program/system development.
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in clinical supervision of multi-disciplinary clinical staff

Special Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and pass DMV record check
  • Must pass TB test
  • Must pass and maintain first aid and CPR certification
  • Offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate passing a fingerprint based National Criminal History Record Check
  • Child Protective Services Requirements: Effective 1999, mandated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services 12VA35-105-400 rules and Regulations for Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services related to Criminal Registry Checks, a search of the registry of founded complaints of child abuse and neglected maintained by the Department of Social Services.

Work Schedule:

This position is typically Monday – Friday, 8 hours/day with the possibility of administrative and supervisory duties extending beyond this on occasion. The EI PM will work in the office and remotely as program needs dictate.

Starting Salary Range: $98,475.00 - $128,017.50
