We provide building operations, maintenance, and related services to 2.1M square feet of County-owned properties and selected leased facilities; build new County facilities as part of the County’s five-year Capital Improvement Program (CIP), and manage master planning and programming for future new facilities; provide County vehicle maintenance and replacement and related services; manage the County’s leased spaces, the Building & Facilities program, Fire Station renovation program, and CIP renovation projects; and protect County facilities, property, and personnel through security systems design, response plans, operations and maintenance, and standards, policy, and training; and records management, print shop, and mail and courier services.

This newly-created position reports to the FFM Senior Business Services Administrator, establishing a partnership to provide fiscal leadership and management for all FFM programs. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with a high degree of personal integrity, a strong work ethic, and excellent organizational and time management skills.

Portfolio will include
- Administration of FFM procurement card program
- Assisting in the execution and oversight of the annual operating and capital budget process; year-end closing; and fiscal year start-up activities
- Responsibility for final review/approval of financial transactions up to $10K
- First-line financial, budget, procurement, and MS Excel technical support for divisions
- Coordination of Oracle-based financial and budget systems workflow and user accounts
- Management of FFM inventory program (capital, non-capital controlled assets, etc.)
- Coordination of division monthly budget and performance reporting
- FFM Information Technology Representative (ITR) partnership
High School diploma or G.E.D. and 5 years of related experience.
Preferences
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, public administration, business administration, business management, or finance.
- Five to seven years position-related, professional-level experience in local government
- Proficiency in the use of Oracle-based financial and budget systems.
- Superior written and spoken communication skills
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
Work Schedule
- County business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. PWC standard workweek is 37.5 hours with daily one hour lunch period . The successful candidate may select a regular starting and ending time which must include required core hours of 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
- FLSA-exempt position which may require additional hours beyond normal County schedule during June and July (year-end closing and fiscal year start-up), and September and October (first phase of the annual budget cycle).
- This is an in-office position which, depending upon workload and needs of the department, may be telework eligible one to two days per pay period once incumbent satisfactorily completes the initial training period.
