As the Dental Office Coordinator , you will be the cornerstone of the office’s daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining a high standard of customer service. You will oversee all administrative tasks, and ensure that our patients receive the best care possible from the moment they walk in the door until their appointment is complete.
Responsibilities :
1. Scheduling & Patient Flow : Oversee appointment scheduling, confirm patient visits, and manage office calendars to minimize delays and maximize productivity.
2. Billing & Insurance : Oversee billing processes, verify insurance coverage, and assist with coding and claims submissions. Work with insurance companies and patients to resolve billing issues.
3 . Compliance & Policies : Ensure compliance with all dental office regulations, safety standards, and patient confidentiality guidelines (HIPAA).
4 . Office Maintenance : Manage inventory of office supplies, equipment, and ensure that the office is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
5. Patient Relations : Ensure a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment for patients. Address patient concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
7. Marketing & Growth : Collaborate with the team to develop strategies for patient acquisition, retention, and overall practice growth.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Minimum of 3 years of dental office experience. Experience in patient scheduling, billing, and insurance is highly preferred.
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional dental or healthcare certifications are a plus.
- Skills :
1. Strong leadership and team management skills.
2. Proficient in dental office software and scheduling systems (We use Curve Dental)
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
