Position Summary:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing various accounting functions, including financial reporting, account reconciliations, budgeting, and compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closings.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances between actual and budgeted figures.
- Coordinate with auditors for periodic reviews and annual audits.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to support financial decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax regulations and accounting standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3 years of professional accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
