What You'll Do
We’re seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Data and Analytics Team, where you'll play a key role in supporting the distribution/sales teams for Business Owner and Workplace Benefits solutions.
This role involves converting intricate data into useful insights that distribution teams can easily understand and apply to their strategic efforts to grow and retain business. You'll work closely with colleagues to advocate standard BI practices, drive innovation, and build essential and insightful products.

Who You Are
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$86450 - $116850 / year
Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data visualizations that deliver impactful dashboards; transform complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Research, analyze, and validate data sources for accurate and comprehensive data to support decision-making
- Collaborate with business users and others, to grasp business strategies and objectives, then build and implement business intelligence solutions to drive and measure outcomes
- Effectively collaborate within project teams to develop and maintain processes or systems in accordance with target dates. This may include partnering closely with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Analytics Consultants, and Product Managers, as well as key business partners and domain experts
- Champion, promote, and drive implementation of development best practices for Business Intelligence solutions
- Proactively explore and evaluate emerging BI tools, features, and industry trends to drive the future of business intelligence
- Train and coach users on BI tools and self-service capabilities; promote data literacy across the enterprise
- Ensures data governance policies are followed

Who You Are
- Bachelor's Degree in technical or analytical field or equivalent experience
- 4 years of related experience with analytics required
- Recognized as a leader in analytics, typically through advanced education and extensive work experience.
- Experience using Power BI or other business intelligence applications (e.g Domo, Looker, Qlik, Tableau, SiSense, SAS, Business Objects)
- Experience working with different on-prem and Cloud SQL data sources (e.g. Snowflake, AWS Athena, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2)
- Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with various levels of the organization
- Ability to mentor and review work of team members
- Proven experience in developing BI solutions while advocating for innovation, consistency, and best practices within the team
- Advanced expertise in Power BI
