Job Description
Summary/Objective
The human resource coordinator facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function including but not limited to record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Essential Functions
Responsible for leading the full-cycle recruitment process, working with management to identify front-line recruitment needs, developing a recruiting plan, sourcing candidates, advertise job postings, liaise and negotiate with agencies, attend job fairs (when required), assist with interviews and make formal offers. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS.
Assist with the preparation of the performance review process.
Assist or prepares correspondence as requested.
File documents into appropriate employee files.
Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other administrative functions.
Assists with processing of terminations.
Complete, verify and maintain all Employment Eligibility Verification forms (I-9) ensuring compliance. Submits online investigation requests and assist with new-employee background checks.
Prepares new-employee files.
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Schedules meetings and interviews.

HR Expertise (Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar field OR Associates Degree or PHR certified)
Skilled in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
