Summary: The Software Trainer provides students in assigned classes with excellent installation, training and scenario practice with Priority Dispatch software products. The trainer will also serve as a knowledgeable resource and provide excellent service to our customers either in person or in a remote environment. The trainer will also take a proactive role in providing feedback to department managers as well as to the Curriculum team regarding errors, omissions or recommended improvements to training materials, processes, or procedures.

Responsibilities
- Provides software installation and instruction, meeting all PDC requirements.
- Training preparation and maintenance, including pre-class contact and post-class documentation.
- In conjunction with PDC Protocol Experts and the Remote Training Coordinator, serves as a software-specific expert for questions from students and client agencies.
- Participates in workshops, conferences, presentations, or demonstrations as assigned by the Client Services Manager or as required to maintain instructor certification.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires HS Diploma.
- Experience with use and/or troubleshooting of ProQA and AQUA software.
- Experience with use and/or troubleshooting of ProQA System Administration and Reports modules.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to teach several individuals of various computer skill levels.
- Ability to handle stress of long travel.
- Multi-task oriented.
- Ability to achieve a goal in a prescribed time-frame (instruct material in allotted class time).
- Manage various details of travel schedules.
- Flexible with hours to meet company needs.
- Experience in problem-solving, interpreting complex data elements, articulating findings, and providing solutions in high-stress work environments.
- Current ProQA and AQUA Instructor qualification or the ability to obtain within 45 days of hire
- Experience installing our products in both networked and stand-alone environments.
- Emergency Communications Center experience.
- Current or previous certification in any discipline of the Priority Dispatch System
- Knowledge of internal processes and company mission/values.
