In partnership with other HR members, the Human Resources Manager will provide support and action on all aspects of Human Resources, ensuring alignment with company objectives and legal requirements while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to employee performance, staffing needs, talent development, employee relations and retention.
- Oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, culture; and training and development.
- Provide support and partnership with the Head of Talent Acquisition in staffing and recruiting needs; execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
- Monitor to ensure the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations are in place, and recommended best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Facilitate professional development, training, and certification activities for departments.
- Ensure that all new hires are onboarded and assimilated to drive rapid outcomes.
- Provide support and leadership on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Partner with HR team on employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to CHRO.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and best practices.
- Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
- Provide backup as needed on payroll processing that ensures accuracy and timeliness of payments.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes and documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Required Job Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as an HR manager or similar role, preferably in a company with 200 employees.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Proficient in HRIS and MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Driven and outcomes oriented.
- Former experience in private equity growth companies.
