WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Proven experience in corporate accounting and strong leadership skills
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Extensive knowledge of account reconciliation processes and general ledger management
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed analysis
• Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to clearly present complex financial information
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
• Eagerness and willingness to take on a variety of challenges and a large scope of responsibilities
• Ability to commute to and work on-site in our South Lake, TX office

YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

The management position requires an 8 hour shift, with flexibility based on the workload to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

As a Senior Accountant you oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. You prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, conducting account reconciliations to maintain accuracy. Establishing internal controls is a priority as you work to keep spending integrity and uncover cost savings opportunities. In this manager position, you handle accounts payable and receivable, collaborating with our collections attorney when necessary. Using QuickBooks and Mothernode software, you manage job costing, performance metrics, and reporting. You work closely with other departments throughout the day to drive process improvements, enhance performance reporting, assist with city permitting, pricing / estimating, and contribute to financial planning.
