Job Title: Expeditor/Scheduler
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Expeditor/Scheduler to oversee and coordinate scheduling for multiple operational tasks. In this role, you will manage 50-100 active jobs, prioritize workflow based on customer deadlines, and account for secondary operations on the pipe. Utilizing spreadsheets, you will track and manage workflow to ensure efficiency and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and manage production schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Prioritize jobs based on customer due dates, processing times, and resource availability.

Track job status, work in progress, and completion timelines using scheduling spreadsheets.

Coordinate with production teams to optimize job sequencing and minimize downtime.

Communicate schedule updates, delays, and bottlenecks to relevant teams.

Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in customer requirements or production capacity.

Ensure completed work meets quality standards and customer expectations.

Collaborate with supervisors, machine operators, and customer service teams to streamline workflow.

Identify and implement process improvements in scheduling and workflow management.
Qualifications & Skills:

Experience in production scheduling, manufacturing coordination, or workflow management preferred.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (or similar spreadsheet software) for scheduling.

Familiarity with pipe processing, profiling, lathe, and HemSaw cutting operations is a plus.

Ability to analyze workloads and prioritize tasks based on deadlines and efficiency.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience:

Prior experience in a metal fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial setting.

Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for scheduling (a plus, but not required).
