We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inside Sales Assistant. The Inside Sales Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team by handling quoting, creating Purchase Orders (POs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quoting and Pricing: Prepare accurate and timely price quotations based on customer inquiries and specifications.
- Purchase Orders (POs): Process POs from customers and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Bills of Materials (BOMs): Create BOMs based on customer requirements and technical specifications.
- Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Order Processing: Assist in processing sales orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and organized records of quotes, orders, and customer interactions.
- Technical Knowledge: Utilize knowledge of industrial products to effectively communicate product features, benefits, and technical specifications to customers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, engineering, and other departments to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: Prior experience in inside sales, purchasing, or a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with CRM software preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
