Local wholesale clothing warehouse located in Herrin, IL is hiring a Customer Service Rep. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing outstanding service and support. This multifaceted role requires an individual who excels in organization, communication, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities :
Respond promptly to customer inquiries both internal customers (sales representatives) and external customers (buyers) via phone, email, chat.
Address and resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and with empathy.Provide accurate information about products and services.Technical Support :Utilize computer systems to manage customer accounts, process orders, and track inquiries.
Navigate multiple software applications to assist customers and update records.Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues with products or services.Team Collaboration :Work closely with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality customer service.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving customer service processes.Support team members in handling complex inquiries or escalations.Time and Priority Management :Manage multiple tasks and inquiries simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Prioritize tasks based on urgency and customer needs.Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response times and customer satisfaction scores.Documentation and Reporting :Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Prepare reports on customer feedback and issues for management review.Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved and they are satisfied with the service.Qualifications :
Proven experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role.Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced team- oriented environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software applications.Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently.Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.Solid understanding of basic accounting principlesBenefits :
