Summary:
The Receiving Lead plays a critical role in coordinating daily inbound operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt of tires and other inventory to support overall warehouse productivity.
Job Summary:
As a frontline leader, the Receiving Lead supports the smooth execution of inbound processes by guiding team performance, coordinating with drivers and internal departments, and ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance. This role involves hands-on tire handling and contributes to the overall success of the warehouse by promoting safety, quality, and speed in alignment with operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with coordinating and executing daily inbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate receiving activities.
- Support shift planning by helping communicate priorities and distributing tasks to the team.
- Monitor the unloading process and address discrepancies, damages, or delays as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation by reviewing, uploading, and entering shipment data into relevant systems.
- Foster clear communication on the warehouse floor and collaborate with internal departments to support workflow.
- Help assess space availability and inventory flow to ensure smooth receiving and handoffs to other departments.
- Promote a safe work environment by reinforcing safety procedures and reporting potential hazards.
- Ensure equipment is operated safely, and that team members meet usage and certification requirements.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of warehouse experience (Required)
- 1 year of experience in a team support or leadership capacity (Required)
- 1-2 years of receiving experience (Preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software (e.g., RF Smart, NetSuite, spreadsheets, cloud-based tools) (Preferred)
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days (Required)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) (Preferred)
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, push, or carry items up to 75 pounds regularly
- Frequent walking, standing, lifting, bending, and operating warehouse equipment
- Able to walk and stand for extended durations throughout the shift.

Schedule & Work Environment:
- Full-time; Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
- Flexibility may be required for occasional, early mornings, evenings, or weekends based on operational needs.
- Work is performed in a warehouse environment subject to temperature fluctuations.
- PPE (including safety vests) is required and provided.
