Job Purpose
In your as a Sales Retention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. This position involves traveling to customer sites to build relationships, understand customer needs, and implement effective retention strategies. A monthly vehicle allowance is provided. You will have the ability to earn commission based on customer retention metrics and upselling efforts, incentivizing you to maximize customer satisfaction and engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to address customer concerns and ensure that our products/services meet their expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Travel to customer locations to conduct on-site visits, engage with clients, and strengthen relationships
- Gather customer feedback and insights to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for additional services or products
- Analyze customer data and behavior to develop targeted retention strategies
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and support teams to design initiatives aimed at increasing customer loyalty
- Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and retention rates, reporting findings to management.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure their needs are met and to address any concerns
- Act as a point of contact for customers experiencing challenges, providing timely and effective solutions
- Escalate issues to appropriate departments as needed to ensure prompt resolution
Qualifications
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate profile includes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field is preferred but not required
- Willingness to work onsite at our corporate office located in Clinton Township, MI, 1-2 days per week
- Reliable transportation to visit customer sites 3-4 days per week ($600 monthly vehicle allowance provided)
- Previous experience in sales, collections, customer service or related fields
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Efficient in computer systems; including Microsoft Office and the ability to work in a CRM system
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
