Position Overview
The Inside Sales Representative Freight Forwarding Specialist is a critical role in driving business growth by leveraging extensive freight forwarding experience to identify and develop new opportunities, maintain and support existing accounts, and lead pricing and proposal initiatives. A deep understanding of air and ocean freight imports and exports is essential to ensure seamless collaboration across teams, deliver the Ultimate Customer Experience, and build strong, lasting customer relationships. This individual's expertise in freight forwarding will directly contribute to the company's success and its reputation as a leader in global logistics and emergency response.
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation and Customer Engagement
Research and identify new business opportunities through phone, email, webinars, and in-person interactions.
Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving shipment issues.
Support the Pricing Team by following up on quotes, gathering feedback, and assisting with proposals.
Attend sales and operational meetings to stay informed and contribute insights.
