Priority Worldwide is seeking a dependable, independent, hard-working employee with a strong team ethic to join our warehouse staff. Required Skills and Competencies:
- Build custom crates and pallets
- Load materials and products into package processing equipment
- Clean containers, materials, supplies or work areas
- Record product, packaging and order information on specified forms and records
- Measure, weigh, and count products and materials
- Lay out dimensions on materials with ruler, measuring tape and pencil
- Saw materials to size using hand/power saws
- Assemble materials using various tools and place them in container/crate
- Build crates and prepares for shipping including applying labels and other packaging requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Uphold all trash and recycling processes according to PWS standards
- Participate in and nurture team oriented working environment
- Adjust to a fast paced and quickly changing environment/set of duties
Education and Experience Requirements:
- 1 plus year(s) woodworking experience
- Experience using tape measure, nails guns, and power tools
- Experience with material handling
- Ability to follow safety guidelines-i.e. steel toed shoes, safety glasses, and vests while in the warehouse area
- Ability to complete TSA and US customs background screening process and training
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to drive a fork lift a plus
What We Offer
Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
- Hourly $17.00-$23.00, depending on experience
