Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. Your primary responsibilities will include managing guest seating, processing transactions, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems, particularly Aloha POS.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and assist them with ordering , helping the customer decide what to have for breakfast or lunch
- Manage the flow of guests in the restaurant to ensure timely service.

- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide assistance to guests with inquiries about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information or taking reservations as needed.
- Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly to enhance guest relations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. .
- Strong communication skills and ability to help guests in a friendly manner.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
