What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Manager position at Prism Resources?
Prism Resources connects top talent with corporations throughout the South FL area. Our client is an established leader in their industry with an immediate hiring need in their accounting department for an Accounts Receivable Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to the preparation, posting, verification, and recording of customer invoices, payments, and transactions related to the Accounts Receivable function.
- Provide insight and drive process improvement initiatives within the A/R area.
- Prepares invoices according to customer contracts
- Reconcile customer payments and follow up on open receivables.
- Reconcile A/R aging to General Ledger
- Submit invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Maintain customers' relevant information in files.
- Responsible for customer onboarding process and setup in ERP system.
- Calculate commission and submit to payroll and A/P for processing.
- Accrues commissions and reconciles the commissions' accrual accounts.
- Facilitate the timely and accurate receipt of financial data from internal departments.
- Assist in annual external audits
- No supervisory responsibilities- This is an independent contributor role.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- At least 6 years' experience in Accounts Receivable.
- Experience with reading contracts
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables)
