Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager at Prism Specialties, you will be the driving force

Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition:
Identify and pursue prospective customers to develop a strong pipeline of qualified
sales opportunities.
Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with new and existing clients by understanding their
unique needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Field Engagement:
Meet with customers in the field to assess project requirements, accurately scope jobs,
and effectively close deals—ensuring a seamless transition from prospect to successful
project delivery.
Market Engagement:
Represent Prism Specialties at local conferences, trade shows, and insurance
association events.
Sales Activities:
Schedule and conduct in-person sales visits, presentations, and meetings with local
business owners, contractors, and insurance adjusters.
Process Management:
Organize, document, and manage your sales process to identify challenges and track
success, ensuring continuous improvement.
Digital Outreach:
Utilize social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) to enhance your selling
process and expand your network.
Professional Networking:
Establish and maintain memberships in local and national professional associations to
stay connected with industry trends and opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
Industry Experience:
Previous experience in insurance claims or the restoration industry is highly
preferred.
Familiarity with restoration processes, emergency response procedures, and
working with insurance adjusters is a significant advantage.
Knowledge of fire, water, and mold restoration services is beneficial.
Communication Skills:
Exceptional writing abilities for crafting business correspondence and reports.
Strong presentation skills and comfort speaking in front of audiences.
