Role and Responsibilities :
- Greets patients in a cordial, friendly and prompt manner; accompanies patients to photo room
- Verifies patient information and makes necessary documentation to patient charts
- Obtains all appropriate consent forms
- Captures patient imagine by using specialized equipment
- Monitors patients' conditions and reactions during the imaging process
- Manages duplicates, proper image-archiving and storage; escalates any problems or concerns to management
- Contributes to maintaining a clean and sterile environment
- Performs ad-hoc tasks in support of the clinical department as needed
- Performs imaging in support of the Clinical Research Department as needed
- Maintains compliance with all practice procedures and protocols
Essential Qualifications : Education : High school graduate or GED required. Experience : 2-5 years of experience working in a medical environment. Clinical experience within Ophthalmology preferred but not required.
