Responsibilities
- Greets patients in a cordial, friendly and prompt manner; accompanies patients to photo room.
- Verifies patient information and makes necessary documentation to patient charts.
- Obtains all appropriate consent forms.
- Captures patient images using specialized equipment.
- Monitors patients' conditions and reactions during the imaging process.
- Manages duplicates, proper image-archiving and storage; escalates any problems or concerns to management.
- Contributes to maintaining a clean and sterile environment.
- Performs ad-hoc tasks in support of the clinical department as needed.
- Performs imaging in support of the Clinical Research Department as needed.
- Maintains compliance with all practice procedures and protocols.
Essential Qualifications
Education : High school graduate or GED required.
Experience : 2-5 years of experience working in a medical environment. Clinical experience within Ophthalmology preferred but not required.
